Last updated: 8 March 2026  ·  TradeNudge, United Kingdom

TradeNudge is committed to handling all complaints fairly, transparently, and in accordance with UK data protection law including the UK GDPR and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2026.

How to Submit a Complaint

If you have a concern about how TradeNudge handles personal data — including how SMS reminders are sent on behalf of our users — you can submit a complaint directly to us.

Email [email protected]

Please include your name, contact details, and a clear description of your concern. We recommend using the subject line "Data Protection Complaint".

Our Commitments to You

Acknowledgement within 30 days

We will acknowledge every complaint in writing within 30 calendar days of receipt. Where a complaint is straightforward, we will aim to provide a full response within the same timeframe.

Investigation without undue delay

We commit to investigating all complaints thoroughly and providing a substantive outcome without undue delay. For complex cases requiring further investigation we will keep you informed of progress at regular intervals.

No retaliation

Submitting a complaint will never affect your use of the TradeNudge service. We treat all complaints as an opportunity to improve.

Opting Out of SMS Messages

If you are a customer who has received an SMS reminder and wishes to stop receiving further messages, open the link in the message and choose Stop these texts. Your number is added to our opt-out register immediately and no further messages will be sent through TradeNudge, for any business. Most messages come from the sender name “TradeNudge”, which cannot receive replies. If a message came from a phone number instead, you can also reply STOP to it.

You may also request removal in writing at [email protected].

Escalation to the ICO

If you are not satisfied with our response, or if we have not responded within 30 days, you have the right to escalate your complaint to the UK's data protection regulator:

Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) — ico.org.uk

The ICO is the UK's independent authority set up to uphold information rights in the public interest, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy for individuals.
